Joining Us

The Redhill Corps of Drums is always looking for new members to fill the ranks. If you have ever wanted to play an instrument or you already play and looking for a band to play with why not pop along to our practice hall and have look at what we do. We accept people of all skill levels and from the age of 8 years old.

 

If you have never played a musical instrument before, there is no need to worry. We will teach you how to play a musical instrument and how to read music. You don't even need to have your own instrument!

 

We rehearse every Wednesday, 18:30 to 19:45 for junior members and 19:45 to 21:15 for the senior band, and Sundays at 1030 to 1230 in our hall, which is located in Redhill town centre just behind the Liquid Envy nightclub.

 

Members that are under the age of 25 can also compete in contests that are run by TYMBA (Traditional Youth Marching Bands Association).

 

You will meet a lot of new people and travel far and wide performing with the band.
